I heard that Google bought the NIK software company... Can someone confirm this? No more deals on their software through Amazon apparently.

yes, it's true.

I have the NIK Complete Collection and bought at 20% discount on their website.
You automatically get the 20% when you attend one of their webinars......

Yes it's true. Hope they don't stuff it up. It's great software in my opinion.

This is true. According to many, this acquisition should benefit those of use that purchased this magnificient software because of Google's capital behind it. So far I haven't seen any changes. Hopefully, they will continue to develop their plug ins and not burry it.

So far, the only difference I noticed, was that you can no longer order the software on CD to be shipped to you. It is download only. I'm old school, I prefer to have my software on CD. I ordered the Silver Efex Pro II. They told me once I downloaded it I could make my own copy on CD. So far I haven't been able to figure out how, but then again, I don't know much about computers.

They keep your registered software available for download via of your login . Very quick and easy.
