Q3. I guess you can live with the one focal length for everything you will shoot with it?

Actually, the Q3 is a 60 MP camera with a 28mm lens that electronically "zooms" (crops) to 35, 50, 75 and 90mm. The electronic zoom yields surprisingly good results at those longer focal lengths. That's why it's such a good street camera -- there's a lot of versatility in that "one" lens.

So what intel for those of us waiting? Anyone want to guess as to how long before The Q3 will be available for those of us on the wait list?

I guess if you have two z9s and an 850 then you can afford another camera. Go for it. but dont come crying to us that the new camera is just collecting dust as you like the z9 more.

Promise. I won’t. But I think the Z9 is excellent for most everything, including sports, high speed action, and birding. I am thinking that the Leica is more suited for street, being less intrusive. Probably not as good for sports and birding.

If I hate it, doubting that I will, it probably retains a good period of its value on the resale market, so I can’t lose it all. I keep my cameras pristine condition.
