Those doors are very common in Europe. The large doors are designed to open fully for a car to enter, but the smaller one is for people, often the only keyed entrance.

I’ve been following your Cartagena photos and really like your work. When I was there a few years ago I found doors very attractive and great subjects.

Enjoyed the photos. We were in Cartagena for about 4 days in the mid 1970's. Some beautiful buildings, but also saw a lot of poverty and enjoyed periods without running water. Got dysentery the evening before we left. I assume things are much better now.
