It doesn't have that stripe above its eye. looks more like a young brown thrasher

this is why I'm not sure.
I've made a rough copy of the three birds into one image, the one from the link I posted about a Rock Wren on the left, the original in the middle, and a Brown Thrasher on the right?
Another reason to not believe everything the internet tells you, lol.

There is an excellent FB site called "What Bird is this" You submit your image and tell where and when you saw it and will quickly receive a response from an expert birder.
