I love my Sony a65 for shooting candid's. The flip screen allows me to hold the camera facing the person with me looking in the other direction. These ladies are always bashful but today I was able to capture them. :-D

No Net, no ladder, no lift.....crazy ways of trimming coconut trees! We had to have a guy come in and clear out some of the large coconuts before the kids take to the playground!

The 15th is the grand opening complete with Franklin Graham and Greta Van Sustren. Oh yah me too taking pixs

Devotionals in the play ground
Devotionals in the play ground...

we had a heavy UN presence today. I don't know why? They will just stand there anyway and let crap happen right in front of them

:D Okay I know some people will bust my chops for this but I am a missionary and I do believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior so this set was taken this morning during devotionals. Boy the guy's were wound up...singing and praying. Very charismatic. It was a great time in praise!

When all else fails...make them jump!

Yup, they sure know how to do it. When I was there, we spent a day in the village of Canez - on the shore of that brackish water lake, north or northeast of Port au Prince, I think. When we show up, the whole village came out to sing for us. They villagers, who were/are starving taught us much about worship.
Really enjoying the photos!
