But yes....Fresh! Too funny....definitely NOT what I thought of when I first saw the post but makes sense.

I am on call this weekend and in the medical field and could have taken plenty of "Fresh" pictures today....good thing it would be considered a HIPPA violation or I may have grossed some people out! LOL :)

Awww... It's interesting how the baby's beak is strait. I wonder if the beaks end up curving because of the way they feed, or if it's genetic and curves naturally later?

I think it's both. The way they feed resulted in how their beaks are shaped. Little ones get regurgitated food from mom, but as they grow and learn to feed themselves, their beaks cooperate.
