Like tulips, the color mottling may be the symptom of a virus. The color in the background [left] is a great subtle touch Tony.

You can use your smartphone to determine what flower or plant you are uncertain of. Take a picture, tap on the picture and swipe up. It will tell you what it is. Also works for bugs and other things.

My plant ID ap lists this as Petunia atkinsiana, aka garden petunia, a hybrid. Lovely shot.

In what App are you referring to? If I swipe up in my Gallery it gives me details about the exposure or it selects the next image file. In my camera app it toggles between back and front cameras. I can ID some photos of flowers with PlantNet or Merlin for Birds.

If you have an android phone with a Google search bar you can image search by touching the right hand 'camera' icon then select from your gallery or direct from your phone camera. It isn't perfect but gives you a good idea...
