The OP is trying with the 50mm non-IS lens thus there is no stabilization at all with the Z50.

Yes! I just checked the adapter instructions and there are exclusions!

Thanks , the nikon support tells me that the lens has to have vr. Or the optical vr will not work.
Also got the same response from my camera store ! Was trying with z50 lens.
Guess I’ll have to keep it steady , if you have had different results with z50 with z50 1.8 it would be interesting .
What ever it does work with vr lens .

Yes..that's the answer. Actually, I'm having a problem with my adapter and F mount lenses. They have VR but there's a different problem. I'm sticking with my Z lenses only.
