I recently discovered Sugar Hill, Georgia after checking out some local fireworks locations. I drove around the area in the rain and returned Saturday for these photos.

I thought the new city hall, built in 2013, was interesting. All of these photos were taken on the same street, in walking distance.

Very nice indeed. Is that an HDR of the memorial and eagle?

Thank you. All the photos are from a single exposure, processed in Photoshop Elements. I imported them to Snapseed on my IPad. I used a touch of HDR in Snapseed, trying not to overdo it.

Nice images, Dean! I like the understated HDR effect. Those are some really nice municipal buildings for a town with a population under 20,000.

Thank you, Merry! Sugar Hill is north of Atlanta, between Suwanee and Lake Lanier. If you visit, be sure to check out the area behind city hall. I have driven by Sugar Hill many times with no clue about what was there.

Thank you, Stan. I agree about the nice buildings for a relatively small town. It was refreshing to see what can be done using some vision to create a little gem.
