Very nice!! I really like #1 and the last one.

When I first viewed your post I was using my cell phone and I couldn't understand why all those men were gathered together and thought maybe it was a security detail. When I opened this a few minutes ago I got a good laugh seeing the photo on my computer.

Thank you John, Jim, Jack, Jimmy, Mike, Dodie! The night before, July 3, I was to the Wrigley Building also, but with film. Those results are probably weeks away, pending sending the film off for developing. More shots of that large flag, mostly.

Thank you Kerry! We actually were at the Art Institute on Sunday that was literally at one of the many 'corners' of the race course. But, that was during the flooding rains of Sunday. When we came out, the rain had stopped, but the race had not yet started. Then, we were on the other side of the loop, eating, when they finally started the race. No pics.

That's about the way my luck runs too. Maybe next year.

The RAW files were processed in Adobe Lightroom v6.

I was downtown about 6:30 am Tuesday. Alas, that was too early to have the sun lighting the entire east-facing side of the Wrigley Building.

Instead, I wandered around and captured ideas in the area where the sun was shining between the buildings.

These manual focus lenses have no electronic communication to the digital camera. So, you need to set the aperture manually and focus the lens manually. I use a Metabones adapter for these FD lenses to Sony's E-mount on the a7II. As the camera can't communicate to the lens, I have to configure the camera to release the shutter with no lens mounted (detected).

Great job. Thanks for braving the streets of Chicago again. Of late, I avoid Chicago because of the violence. I don't encourage anyone to use the hood or roof of my car as a dance floor.

Thank you NikonGal, Flyerace! Fear is only as deep as the mind allows.
