Flickr no longer accepts mp4. Flickr recommends to convert to h.264. Have been unabe to find a simple way to do that on PC with windows11. Any suggestions? I did try a couple of apps on PC, but they were not easy to figure out. Thanks for any simple options. Thank you.
.MP4 and .MOV are video "container files". Inside are a lot of things including the video "codec" like H.264 or H.265. Can you put up a link to the Flickr recommendations? There are simple ways, but need to know the goal.

Download Handbrake. Free, versatile and easy to use
I've used that, and it works! Clever name.
Go to "Any Video Converter ". It 's free and easy. I believe Premier Elements should work also. There are more. Check YouTube and Google.

Download HandBrake. It's open source video conversion software that runs on Mac, Windows, Linux... It should do the trick.
https://handbrake.fr is the link.
Handbrake is indeed a good converter. It's typical "default" output is an MP4 file with the H.264 codec. The OP says "Flickr no longer accepts mp4". If so, then some choices need to be made in Handbrake.
On a quick check, Flickr says it will accept MP4. If so, then then the OP has a different issue.

Thank you for that info, George. I checked it out but I was unable to find how to convert from MP4 to H.264 format, vs. actually 'editing' a video. I have contacted flickr, too, but I am still waiting for a reply. If you do come across any other simple way to make that conversion, please let me know.

gmbrandon, I saw the same info on flickr. It's the 1st time I have not been able to submit MP4 videos. I have contacted flickr but am still waiting for a response. I guess I don't understand the H.264 part of this.

Jozee, I am interested to know what you come up with. Please add to this when you have found the solution.
