Has anyone gotten their Z8 back from Nikon yet? Does anyone know what the turn around time is? I sent mine in 8 days ago, and haven't received a shipping date yet.

Yes. You should receive your's back shortly based on the experience of most. Most are 5-7 business days.

I sent mine in last Monday as well. I just checked and it showed "billing" which, to me, means it should be shipped today and I would expect it Wednesday. No charge. The 5-7 business days are as good a prediction as any, although I am a NPS member and I did send it in on day 1! I believe Nikon is quoting 5-10 business days. Best of luck.

I received my official notice that it had been received 3 days after UPS said it had been delivered.

I re-checked @ an hour ago and I was presented a UPS tracking code. My guess remains that I will see it on Wednesday. Best of luck.

Where are you checking? When I log in to Nikonusa I don't see any place to get that info.

When Nikon logs in your repair, they will send you an e-mail with the service order number and some other details. Until you get that, there is nothing they can do. Please understand that you are not the only one sending your camera right now and it may take a few days just to get that. The Holiday weekend didn't exactly speed up the process either.

I got it. My buddy on Phoenix sent his in on first day from Phoenix and I sent mine on the same day from Santa Fe. He got his BACK on Monday 07/03, with no prior notices from Nikon. Mine arrived at Nikon on Monday 07/03, per UPS tracking, and have received nothing from Nikon at this time. Not sure how his got there and back so fast.

Whatever one is on the top of the pile when UPS delivers, with a boost for NPS members.

I was notified of receipt 3 days after UPS said they delivered it . On 6/30 I received a Service Order Number. No word since. I would guess they are swamped.

Received email that my Z8 should be delivered today. That means that the total process took about 10 days.
