While reorganizing my photographs, I came across this image and thought I would share it.
This is Mr. Mistoffelees, and he was a magical cat. Toffie passed away a very long time ago, but he graced my life for 17 years, and is greatly missed. This is one of the many gifts of photography, preserving our treasured memories.
He was a beautiful friend. You are lucky that he had you for as long as he did.
He’s Very special, and He was very handsome.
My whole life I’ve always loved animals of all kinds, it house cats were never on the top of the list. Until I met my wife, she had two one was a tuxedo Ringo and the other Jon was brown. Jon adopted me as his own. After my wife and I married, he Jon decided he would sleep at my side. He opened me and became a part in my heart. Both boys Jon & Ringo passed several years ago, and we both still miss them dearly. We now have two newer brothers who have filled the void, and too have made their mark in our hearts as well. We stand beside you in the memories of our past fur babies.

Kittens are wonderful fun and entertain your brain, but a cat will take over your heart.

Yes, I was very lucky. He was unlike any cat I ever had.

Yes, they can steal your heart! Later when I can find pictures of his roommate I will share them. Manda Jane was with me for 23 years. The problem is so many of those pictures are on film.
Beautiful kitties! You are very lucky. I hadn't intended in getting another cat, but life had other plans. I rescued a feral kitty, Bumper Rue, that had been living in the neighborhood. I love her, but our relationship is so different given her background.
Thanks for sharing!

So true! Kittens are full of life and fun. What they grow to be will steal your heart!
All cats are special but I recently found these two kittens. The sister (part Siamese) had a respiratory problem which required a vet. Her brother is a tuxedo. They are the most loving cats I have ever had. I’m too old for kittens but I found a wonderful forever home for them. I miss them but happy they have a very caring owner.
Love the interaction by cats who genuinely care for each other. We have one, he is often bored, but clearly lets us know, he does NOT want any other cat in HIS house!
Not a cat person. I won't say I hate them, but...
And I have to admit that I have rescued kittens more than once from dire circumstances. But that does NOT mean that I like kittens. Just the right thing to do at the time. Of course, they all turned into cats and started killing birds, as cats do! I tell myself that I should have just left them to their own devices, but no, that wouldn't have been right!
But, to the point...Nice photos!

At least you don't hate. Nice that you rescued! I am equal opportunity as for dogs/cats, but cats are just easier. Killing birds infuriate me, but I get it. My cat is trying to rest on the balcony, and the bird is chirping away. She decided too much noise and came decided to come in!
Thanks for the compliment. Going out and see if I can get this camera to cooperate!
