Does it take of the same subject, the same scene until one no longer must take that one more?

I have hundreds of images of El Chimborazo. Yet every day I am driven to take more!

Can you walk away from a scene you love without snapping a shot, or two, or ten?

(This is an unedited cellphone shot.)

Beautiful shot, Kathy! I understand. I have hundreds of shots of the Wasatch Front and I will continue to take them as each one shows something different.

Yes, I know what you mean. Since I'm shooting digital, I can take as many as we want. I'll sometime change exposure or take shots from slightly different angles.

I remember watching videos by an online instructor, and one of his videos was called, "Work the Shot."

Haha. I have that happen every time we go to Acadia....
Different weather, positioning, observance, ... each time we visit.
Yet I continue to shoot.

Thanks, Mike. So I'm not obsessing? I have thousands of pictures of penstemon. And I have finally slowed down on them.

I hear that phrase often. Unfortunately, in case the only thing that changes is the light and the clouds.

Thanks, LongShadow. Yes, things change, even if minutely.

I have so many photos of hummingbirds. It seems like I just can’t stop myself from taking another. That and sunset at the beach are like an addiction.

Yep. I get it. Glad to know there's someone else out there with a similar malady.

Well now and then I feel a bit obsessed. I just wanted to know if I'm alone! And thank you.

Guilty as charged! The 'better half' says "How many pictures of the same scene do you need?" LOTS!

We have friends that live on a lake and I take seemingly endless shots from essentially the same vantage point, trying for that β€œperfect” image. I don’t expect to stop until I’m forced to.
