Excellent shot Some insight would be appreciated. Clearly you did not use zone focusing as there is very nice DOF here. The background is out of focus and the subject is crystal clear. That is generally not the case with zone focusing street photography where the objective is to shoot quickly and not diddle with the camera while the picture changes. I tune in every day to see what you have posted and I am always impressed with your body of work. Thanks fore sharing with us.

And thank you, AFPhoto. No, I don't use zone focusing. Even simpler--I shoot full auto. I find the subject, and the camera takes care of the mechanics, including focusing. And overall, the camera does a good job.

Love your answer, Voss. I use two cameras, a Nikon d500 and a Fuji X100F. With the Nikon, I'm all over the place using the program mode, shutter mode, and manual, while the Fuji is almost always on auto. Whatever works for the situation.

Oh, and by the way I like most of your captures but every once in a while you strike gold. To me, this is one of your gold standards capture ... thanks for posting.

Thanks, T. And you have a point there--whatever the situation calls for, that's what you should use.

The title is certainly fitting.
Either that or "An Offer You Can't Refuse"
