Agree with all above regarding fill strobe on eyes and probably open one stop more for all the images. Number 1 if you keep the hands in they need to be in focus but I'd rather they were not part of it. I'm drawn to the left hand and what might be held by it. A light coloured cap I'm guessing?

Thank you Don. I will certainly incorporate these important suggestions into my process. This is why I asked the question! The only way I will improve, is the ask others for help.

Nicely done. #3 is my fave. #2 has a light distraction on the right side adjacent to his shoulder. My eye is drawn to that light instead of the subject. Agree with others and their lighting recommendations. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Wasabi and StanMac, a little more light in the eyes. Otherwise very nice lighting and good poses.
