We were lucky some areas had baseball size and larger stones.
Those things can really do some damage!

Yikes! Those will leave a mark.
Were people hurt ? How about cars ?
You'll probably have roofers calling you for the next few weeks offering a "free inspection" of your roof. Every time we have pea-sized hail in Plano I get calls from roofers for days afterwards.

Hail definitely gets your attention! May 9th was our day for the same.Good luck with your insurance adjuster, roofing contractor, and anyone else to get everything back to normal.

No one hurt as far as I know but cars, well that's another thing.

Yes, I saw some news clips where car windshields were broken. Generally cars were pretty beat up specially, in Bartonville. Yep, the old saying about things are bigger in Texas. Well yeah when it comes to hail.
Bruce.
That’s a haleuva a little storm you had there!
Wow. They are the right size to take out skylights.

Yeah, every spring and early summer.

Several years ago in a little community just northeast of Dallas there was a hail storm that produced grapefruit-sized hailstones - LITERALLY. The destruction it caused was unbelievable! I drove there a few days after it hit and I couldn't believe the huge holes in the sides of two-story wooden homes. The roofs of the homes there were absolutely devastated, the hail went through the roofs and through the floors of the two-story homes. Hundreds of cars were completely destroyed!
A number of years ago I was flying into DFW to visit my dad. Due to severe thunderstorms, we were first told we had to be diverted to Midland-Odesa, then that changed to Oklahoma City. Spend a long night in a chair at Oklahoma City airport. All rental cars had either been damaged or rented there because of the storm. Finally arrived about noon the next day in DFW. Every rental car outside had been severely damaged, but they had saved one for me under cover. I was greatly relieved.
I'm glad I don't live down there anymore. Here in the PNW we just have to worry about an occasional flood, windstorm or volcano eruption.
