A Few From The Puddle

The weather, until today 6-9-2023, had been extraordinarily dry so we added water to the puddle and viola! Birds and bugs -no bees :-(- so I managed a few shots.

The second Wasp shot is interesting. Note the weevil or whatever the Nuthatch caught. The bird dug that bug out of the tree-the reddish area behind it.

D850, 500pF. This set was captured over a 20 minute period.

Great work! What lens did you use and was it auto focus? You really seem to have the focus spot on. Or was this a case of taking a boat load of shots and having a few keepers or did the camera really focus that well?
