The first image was taken at a re-enactment and "vintage" suited it well, I thought. The other 2 images were taken in the 50s likely - my brother in a Davy Crockett cap and a few years later my brother and our youngest sister. Both were original BW that had seen better days so I tried working them in PS Neural Filters and some noise reduction. The second image was so "bad" I used a little of the PS oil paint filter on the background.
You done good my Friend..pg. 5

The Vintage Advantage:.
The first 7 were taken at Hale Farm and Village located between Cleveland and Akron Ohio in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park area.
#8 The train was in the CVNP for Steam in the Valley when they get vintage engines to pull the cars along The Cuyahoga Valley rail line.
#9 is an area where they work on boats at Yorktown.
#10 was taken at McCall Park in downtown Plant City, Florida.
Plant City is the winter strawberry capital but the city is not named for those luscious plants but rather for Henry B. Plant, the railroad magnet.

I found a few Vintage pics that I have a connection too.
When I was young I was a collector of things including stamps and interesting documents. If look to the far left postcard, at far end of beach there are some white buildings. It's an amusement park. I worked where I got my real job at 14. I
When my wife and I were married 57 years and 3 days ago, we rented a little house from the captain Flyer.
The Cataldo Mission is the oldest building. Its located about 20 miles East of Coeur d'Alene just off I-90.
My wife's grandparents were married in Norway.
This is me out elk hunting when I was in my mid 20's. The favorite gun hasn't been fired in about 50 years. Its standing in the corner about 4 feet from me.
This is my aunts, who I never knew, moccasins made for her by local Indians when she was young. She died of the Spanish Fly in 1919.
I put this together for my daughter. For some reason she doesn't like her picture. She thinks it's inappropriate.
great bunch of pictures, especially the wedding group picture. The picture of the moccasins and the backdrop is a great shot. I lost my grandfather the year before (1918) but it was called the Spanish flu.
Tried one in color. I wanted to get the yellow cast you see in older color photos, but I couldn't get what I was after.
there were red, blue, and green sliders, but no yellow.
I have a few to add, but I'll be back with a few more to add.
