Minimal light

I have been coached by the best and I can take a relatively decent picture with studio lights. Being a poor amateur photographer I don't always have access to studio lighting on a routine basis. The picture here is lit by a single light bulb in a hallway. The arms frame the head.
The second photo uses sunlight on a cloudy day. I like the shadows. I added a scarf so the models dark hair is not lost in the background.
Having a professional model also helps.

Photo 1, less is more. Photo 2, her hair is covered to prevent us from having lustful thoughts; sorry it did not work with me. I like the platform in #2 she is part of an artist's pallet.
