So true Don. I can honestly say I have never watched a reality show, if one accidentally comes on, I immediately turn it off. However I can also say I’ve watched a lot of other crap on the tube… CheersJun 3, 2023 14:54:23 #

I doubt very seriously that it's an outright con. That head astrophysicist is too well known and respected in his field to get involved with that. But there's very little doubt, in my mind, that it is structured for drama, presentation sequence, and other means to string out viewer interest.

The government and the Bigelow corp owned the land for years doing research there. If there was anything interesting it was discovered. If you read up what you can find on Bigelow corp you will see they work on a lot of interesting highly classified projects for uncle Sam. It's an entertaining show but I have no idea how true things are. I do know the history of that area is very interesting and is documented way way back in history.

These so-called reality shows are scripted which is a good think. Just think how boring it would be if they weren't. What you'd see is a bunch people spending most of their time moving aimlessly around yawning and scratching their asses.

True. The only reality show I ever liked was The Great Race -- even though it most likely was scripted to some extent like the others, I liked seeing places all over the world they would travel to. It often gave some historical and cultural insights.
