Am looking for a decent travel backpack for my Leica V-Lux5. We’re going to London & Liverpool in 8 weeks and I want something to take on the plane that will fit my extra SD cards, batteries, charging cords, iPad Mini, wallet, phone, passport, and meds.
Anyone out there have something that is suitable for a 5’9” 140 lb female? Thx.

I purchased a "Shimoda Designs Explore v2 30 Backpack Photo Starter Kit" from B&H about 6 months ago. I've purchased many, many backpacks and this is hands down the most comfortable pack that I own. It will easily carry your kit, the top unzips for quick access, and is highly configurable. It is a bit pricey, but for comfort, I don't think it can be beat. I also have a Peter McKinnon 25L pack that's awesome. Not "quite" as comfy to carry as the Shimoda, but still a great pack. Also a little pricey.

Check this out. I have one of these and it is perfect for a camera with a lens plus another lens and flash unit. It has a pocket for things like tablets SD cards, cords, etc. Then there is an upper compartment for all your other items. I use the upper chamber for another lens.

How about the "Think Tank Photo StreetWalker V2.0 Backpack (Black) terrild53?

I have the V1.0 Version of this Think Tank premium Backpack. Believe it may be an ideal solution for your journey. I used this for several years when on assignments for events in Washington DC. While I typically had a photo assistant for many of these events however it worked extremely well when I was solo...

The beauty of this SteetWalker is it's storage for a laptop in the aft portion of the main compartment.
I had to shoot tethered on occasion since some of my client's required real-time monitoring of images.
Here's a link to B&H's site (where I purchased mine)
https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1340538-REG/think_tank_photo_475_streetwalker_v2_0_backpack.html

It's yours for half price (or best offer).
Condition: Like New (without the original box). It's been sitting in my Studio for quite a while now and it's actually time I find it a new owner.

btw, I'm 6'0" and weigh 145 lbs. and the StreetWalker is comfy and a perfect fit for my location gigs. At the time I purchased this StreetWalker V1.0 Backpack it qualified as "Carry On" luggage in most airlines (Exterior Dimension) 17.3 x 9.8 x 7.1" You'll need to verify this with your airline though.

However like you terrild53 some pesky coronary challenges now limit me to Studio only (Stage III CHF).
That said I'm perfectly fine on level ground

While I'm reluctant to use the phase (Built like a Tank) in this scenario it rings true.
Posted Georgetown, Washington, DC Fashion Show Images below for quick reference.
If you're possibly considering purchasing this BackPack I'll post addition images here for you.
PM me about shipping, payment etc. Thanks terrild53, and my best wishing for your good health!
btw, I'm so envious of you... wish I where going to London! What a wonderful cosmopolitan Fashion Center.
