I saw those and enjoyed them, but would not have thought that those images are what is considered to be "a normal frame without distortion".
I am not sure what you are saying.

Daledo said he can shoot 360 gudeo and stills and then extract "normal frames without distortion".
Being unable to mentaly picture such a result, I asked him what that looks like, whereupon you referred me to your posted pix. To me that means you were telling me that your posted pix are examples of what I was asking daledo about, the extracted "normal frames without distortion" that he mentioned.
Your pix are intriguing for sure, but are they what daledo means when he says that he extracts normal frames without distortion ? *IF* your pix truly are what 360 users mean by "normal and without distortion", then Im verrrry curious what the images looked like *before* they were converted to "normal frames".
I have several fisheyes, but they are all corner to corner frame filling, not the circular type. I use them without "de-fishing" software, altho I am somewhat curious about that.
This is an image I took with the 360. Not sure if this is what he meant by no distortion.

What does a "normalized" 360 image look like? Anything like the examples below ?
Just a few quick snaps with a normalized images taken out of the same 360 photo. You can also take them out of the videos. My back yard.
same distortion as any wide angle lens and probably with editing that can be improved.

Thaz what the old Circut cameras would have produced if they had wider vertical coverage than ancient optics delivered.
