Sorry to hear about your foot! Ouch! Good set of photos! As an entomologist I found your photos interesting even though I was primarily an aquatic coleopterist!
Worst part of the foot was the gout 2 days after the break gout set in then went away then back again

I enjoyed seeing your images of insects I never see in life.
Any one of the photos is a thing of pride... except for the broken toes... my bet is that many of us have broken toes when we say we have "stubbed our toes" on the corner support of a chair or bed... Poor toes... and to get gout... OUCH!!

My late father suffered from Gout so I know what you are going through. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
