I stayed at home while job-searching when I left grad school. During those few months, South Bend was hit by a snow storm that dropped 4 feet of snow during a 48 hour period.

(1) My Grandmother {I'm her age now} needed milk for dietary reasons, so my Mother called around and found a place a mile away that was open because the clerks were snowed in, and I walked there with my backup camera which was loaded then with B&W film. We were a city of pedestrians for the next few days

(2) My Dad tried to clear our 'apron' and driveway with the snow-blower but accomplished little until I joined him, I moved snow with a snow shovel while he used the blower

Very nice images. I use to absolutely love Winter when when I was much younger 60 or 70+ ago, but as I've aged a little Winter isn't quite as much fun. I still like to drive in the stuff and snow blow.

The river one works but maybe bring out the shadows a little more and pop the clouds slightly.

Lovely set. I'm guessing the street is maybe in Wales?

Being from Wales myself, I thought the same thing, though it could easily be in any hill country village in England too. If pushed, I'd say it was England over Wales.

Really nice! I like the shots of rust and the two shots of the Glade Creek Grist Mill. I missed riding the Silverton/Durango train due to a timing issue but hope to do that someday. All your shots are beautiful.

Ditto on what I said about your first set. I also like your treatment of the waterfall shots.
