October 2022 was my first trip to Yosemite NP and it was impressive. Although it was so dry there wasn't any water flowing over the falls. Hmmm, I guess I will have to go back again.
Most of you have probably already been there, but let me know if you want to see any more shots of the trip.

Nikon D810, Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 lens set at 29mm @ f/16, 1/8 Sec shutter speed, ISO 100.

Well that’s good. Not been my experience. LOL.

If you want to see raging waterfalls the best time is right after spring thaw, Mar-April depending on the year.

It is certainly a stunning photo Dave and getting rave reviews. There is one thing that I am curious about though. It seems like there should be some of that magenta color that is in the top half reflected in the bottom half as well since it is in the sky as well the peaks. Very well could just be me that is looking at it that way. Again, a gorgeous beautiful shot!

I think I used a graduated filter to darken the sky a little and warm it a bit as well so it pulled out the warmth in the sky but didn't affect the reflection. Plus I think the blue of the water overpowers the warmth as well.

Thanks for looking and commenting.
