No help from the Apple care community so wondering if anyone of you UHHers knows how to solve this problem?
It continues to appear with or without the keyboard style cover taken off and the 3 contact points have been cleaned with alcohol swabs 3 times.

Chances are your cable is bad. I get this when I use an old connector.
The fact that it gives that message suggests that the cable is fine because it recognizes that there is an accessory/device attached. You don’t say what the device or accessory is. You might try turning turning off the iPad, letting it sit for 30 seconds, then rebooting it. That has solved many issues I’ve had with my iPad.
Thanks guys. The accessory must be the keyboard type cover since it is the only thing connected with the 3 points of contact.
This has been a long term problem and the iPad has been shut off and rebooted numerous times.

iPad support after a question on how to connect a subwoofer?
What is the relationship with photography?
Not sure what context "connect a subwoofer" has to my question concerning the irritation of having this note pop up that requires clicking OK on my iPad. I use it for all my photography needs.

No help from the Apple care community, but did you try Apple customer support, chat or phone?
The iPad is beyond its warranty so Apple Care in short doesn't care.

My iPad is also out of warranty, but there have been several occasions when I’ve had an issue and called Apple support and they have been happy to help me out over the phone. Physical problems are, of course, another story. As long as your iPad is still registered with Apple, they should give you some assistance telephonically.
When I have a bad cable on my iPad I get that message. Try jiggling the cable and see what happens.

He posted in the non-photography section.

He posted in General Photography. Admin must have moved it to the correct section.
Other than the message, how is the operation of your iPad affected?
It doesn't seem to have other problems. I asked the question after one 20 minute time period using it and had to click the "OK" button 27 times. It is more than a minor irritant.
I don't think you explicitly stated what the device is that the iPad says isn't supported. If it's an Apple device, Apple should help with the problem. On the other hand, when I get a non-Apple or non-MFI approved item, it just won't work and I get that message.
