Remembering When Horse Diving Was an Actual Thing

I drove from New Brunswick N.J. with my date just to see this amazing act of the horse diving, and enjoy the beautiful and busy pier. It had to be late sixties. Soonest we were seated, it was unannounced from a speaker a strong hurricane was coming fast and the park was closing immediately. I don’t remember the name of the hurricane but I will always remember that I missed the horse’s act, our date didn’t go waste, those years they were plenty of quiet places to park, on the way back home.
