Good to know. So many people ask about travel lenses. It's good to hear from someone with experience.

I'm going to visit a friend for a couple of days, and I'm bringing my little Fuji with a small wide angle lens.

I am currently photographing covered bridges in Indiana, and have my 16-35 F-4 Nikon lens on my Nikon D850...and it is the perfect lens for these subjects. Tight areas, limited visibility, lots of vegetation and obstruction to work around. Although I have my 24-120 in my camera bag, It has not been on the camera yet. I have shot 18 bridges so far, and the wide angle 16-35 works great. I generally take 12-20 interior and exterior shots of each covered bridge. Ninety eight covered bridges in Indiana...so I have a ways to go. Indiana is a long state. Having fun, meeting some interesting people, enjoying good weather, and love the subject matter.
