I tweaked the color version too. Tweaked it a little in ON! develop then applied HDR Sutble.

ON1 develop with hdr subtle then overlayed 20% in PSP.
This version is really nice!
Both are very nice but I like the color version a little better.
The B&W for the art, the color for the record, but there isn't any law that says you can't keep both and enjoy each version for what it offers.
First off I admit to a mono preference of subjects like this. I enjoy the seeming historical bent to that image.
I would darken the sky a tad and fiddle with contrast. But that’s just me, I like it regardless of your preferences. Nice effort.
I prefer color. Color makes it look like there might still be a little life in it. It's a fantastic photo!!!

Thank you for doing the B&W! To me, it shows the beauty and stately nature of the old structure. I do appreciate your effort.

Prefer the B&W. An IR camera version might be interesting too. Your color one is not bad either.
Thank you Mike...appreciate your responses and, at times, wish for a IR camera!!

Beautiful find and shot. I admit to a certain prejudice toward B&W for this type of shot.
Many thanks Jack...yes, most photogs of our generation, I suspect, prefer B&W...it is still color for me!!

I'm not sure one is better than the other. I see no reason to choose, just hang them in two different rooms.
