I'll have to side with Paul here.

When you make an incomplete statement it is difficult to make suggestions. If you enumerate the reasons that Snapbridge is not for you someone might be able to suggest a way to remedy the problem. Without information everyone is just waving their hands around.

Simple way is to just take an image with your cell phone and transfer the GPS setting from the metadata. I also have found an app for my Canon that not only can record the GPS but can act as a shutter release.

Out of all the people on here you are the biggest asshole of all of them! Now if you'd like and you have any influence have the administrators cut my name from the list.

The reason 'why' is not important. The problems with Snapbridge, and there are many, have been talked about here many times. I'm sorry you got rubbished though. No need for that here.

I have to agree, it should suffice that the OP stated it was not a good fit for him. If responders know Snapbridge they logically should disregard those aps that have similar problems as Snapbridge.

Sarcasm and snide comments should also be avoided as they do not aid in providing information. I have detected several of that type comment from some members here and personally find it offensive. Thumper said it best, "If you can't say sumpthin nice, you shouldn't say nuffin."

Google snap bridge alternative.

Other than that...
- There is no need to provide more information as to why one does not like something.
- Name calling is never a good idea
- Show of support is just as ridiculous as flaming someone.

News of the day... A car drove through a UPS store we usually go to... I hope it will be repaired when we return in July...

If you want to leave I for one would be happy to see you go. Your name calling is a sign of your ignorance.

Takes one to know one.
This might be true in some cases but in your case you were wrong, but that doesn't absolve you from the "know one" part of the statement.

Everyone on this forum is here to share and learn from others, and to participate in the common interests of the group. Abusive language has no place in this forum. If you have a constructive comment...make it. If you have nothing good to say...refrain from saying anything. Let us all use common courtesy, and refrain from dragging ourselves and others into the gutter. Just my thoughts. Have a great day.

Doyle, some people on this forum may warrant “burning bridges” with, but Paul is not one of them. Please consider
sending him a PM and attempt to make amends. And think of the positive things that may occur:

1. You may no longer think he is an asshole.
2. Paul may continue to be there for you when you need help with your photography.

Regards, Lerrad
