You really need to pay attention to the water depth with a sail boat🤓
Just the beginning of his problems! Good catch Wayne.

Always.
Unless a storm broke it loose from its mooring and blew it in.

That’s an older boat. Some modern stuff such as aluminum masts (or are they wood just painted white?), but look at the wooden boom, all the wooden blocks and the strange standing rigging.

Looks like a ketch ( mizzen in front of rudder post) lots of parts worth salvaging .... maybe even the whole boat.

Do you know what tide this is? Low, hightide?
I have seen this once or twice at at Horseshoe Cove, bayside at Sandy Hook NRA. They come in at high tide & anchor with a 4-5' tidal height difference between high & low. Maybe a little more during the Full & New moons. One of them was smart enough to put out couple of anchors on the opposite side to which it was leaning early on which kept the vessel upright on the keel until the tied rose again.
Great catch, Cutter rigged ketch, looks like teak decks, great boat for cruising, the ole girl needs to be saved!
I hope they're able to free her. If they just wait for high tide, will she float off?
Now that must've hurt!

My guess its that the portholes (opening windows) in the side of the cabin were not sufficiently watertight to keep the water from flooding the interior. If that's true then she wouldn't rise with the tide.
