for those reading this, The raccoons and opossums of the everglades are now 99% gone from the boas.
The birds are way down because the snakes eat the eggs . They are also eating the gator eggs.
They need a few weeks of hard freeze to kill everything and then start again.
I would roam thru the glades every chance I got. Sad how its changed from 20 years ago.

Live on the east coast and farming esp sugar cane has contributed to its demise along with the bias.
