Just to counter some of the bashing, I ordered something from B&H Monday afternoon PDT. It was shipped via FedEx and just arrived in a plain brown cardboard box that did not have any scuff marks, dents, or other indication of rough handling or abuse.

Everything that I have ordered from B&H has arrived in that condition! And arrived on or before the date promised!!

I recently ordered from B&H on a Friday and received it the next day Saturday! in perfect condition. Except for them being closed so often for holidays, I love B&H. Oh and the Payboo card saved me over $100.

How nice of you to post your satisfaction with those companies. I suspect both companies receive similar comments about 99% of the time.

B&H is excellent. I had had many good experiences with them over many years.
Fed Ex not so good. I watched the driver drop my box into a puddle, then kick it out. The box contained over $4000 worth of high end camera lens.
Second occassion: box was severely crushed and torn. It contained a new high end camera. It was returned to the dealer in its original box for them to see. UPS has never been a problem.

Yesterday morning I ordered a Samsung 4TB SSD drive from Amazon and got it yesterday before 3pm same day. Shut down my PC, cloned my 2TB Samsung to it, installed it and had my PC going by 5pm same day, thank you

As a 33 year retired FedEx Express employee I cabn tell you the employees of this company are dedicated to a successful delivery. Every company gets a bad apple here and there but they don't stay long. Any time you see a delivery unsatisfactory you must call and report it. This is how we weed out those bad apples. Also remember FedEx ground was the old RPS and they choose to be owner operators and do have some non FedEx employees working for them. They must be reported if not doing their job completely. In my opinion always choose FedEx Express over ground as these are FedEx employees not contractors. If you think ground is much cheaper than ship it 2day or 3 day Express. Also a lot of people have good ground drivers. The bad ones don't last long.
