I don't know why people get so upset with composites. Afterall you did state it right up front. Most photos get adjusted in some fashion. It's just a matter of degree. Photography is an art form, and I use compositing to tell a story or illicit a response or emotion. You may have done this quick and dirty, but I sure have seen a lot worse.

If you don't match the tones of the foreground and background ground cover and stones and you don't provide a shadow for the fox, it will always look like a phony cut and paste.

Yeah I know photodoc I know. I have already addressed this several time in this thread. This was a quick and dirty composite attempting to present an AI image, the coyote, generated Adobe Firefly. I here by promise: I WILL NEVER AGAIN POST A COMPOSITE THAT DOES NOT MEET MY MINIMUM STANDARDS, and I knew at the time it didn't

Looks like it you read the hand-writing on the wall, we're going to be spending even more time behind the computer instead of out and about shooting pictures. Maybe to the point where, we'll take a small pad out into the field and use it to create our own version of what's in front of us instead of using a camera.
