I can't figure out how to transfer images from LR CC to Photoshop beta in Windows 11. Export To does not show PS beta and <ctl> E sends them to PS 24.4. Any help greatly appreciated.

You mean the CC as in browser version of LR? Wouldn't you have more control of the external editors in LR Classic? Where you might custom define a specific editor and target executable via External Editors?

When you started a Tech Support Chat with Adobe, what did their technicians (aka experts) suggest?

Sorry I meant LRC, I had a finger stutter. Unlike you I have only had bad experiences with Adobe techs rummaging around in my computer. I will go there only if no one on UHH can help me.

As an alternative can you export the images to your desktop or a separate file and then open your Photoshop program and import them from there? I know it's extra work but it might be worth it to not have to deal with tech support.

I'm guessing that Beta version does not have all the bells and whistles the full version will to allow you to do everything you need to.

Best of luck!!!

This is a valid approach, as well as defining a specific External Editor that points to the beta-version EXE.

Thanks Dodie, that's what I am using now and it's really cumbersome

The Beta version is the full version with features and tools not available in the current release.

It appears that this may only work with Apple ver. of Photoshop!

Then why is he saying (over and over again) "Use Cmd T or Cntrl T..."? He is using the Mac, but there hasn't been an "Apple version" of Photoshop since 1992.

It's easy enough for Curmudgeon to check out. It's only a one entry change in the settings menu.

Photoshop Cafe in response to a question from Robbins Drones, in the comments section of the video, says it works with windows also.

Thank you for sharing that. Today's Beta versions may be more inclusive then a Beta version of a program I tried years ago. It did not come with all the features of the (then) current version so you were informing the company about the missing features in addition to any bugs you found. That was my first, last and only encounter with a Beta version and won't do it again. I like things to work properly and won't purchase first models until they've been out for a while and had an opportunity to fix any last minute bugs.

Just curious, why both places?

I access my photos from Lightroom and process them in Photoshop. Then I save my completed edit back to LR to add key words to enable me to find it when I want to.
