Hi my HOG friends!! Been awhile. What do you think. First time out in a long time. Just sent these in to get MAYBE on MaxPreps. Let me know what you think. Thanks BE SAFE!!
Tom
You got some good shots among those. Hope you get some accepted by MaxPreps.
Great job capturing the game. As a side note the artificial turf reduces impact in the infield photos. I’m glad no school fields in my area have it for baseball/softball. I can’t say it bothers me in any other sport, but without a cloud of dust billowing from a slide baseball seems to look too clean. Anyone agree?

Huh! I hadn't thought about that, but yeah, I see what you mean. Little chunks of shredded rubber coming up just isn't the same! Plus no grass stains! LOL!

Great work Tom. Were you shooting from the stands area behind the catcher (thru the net)? I need to try a few of those different shooting positions even though its an elevated position but a different perspective from my usual 1st and 3rd base dugout positions. At most I have 1 more week of high school baseball/softball games before the regional action move to Austin Texas.

I agree with you Tom 100%. There is nothing like the smell of the grass, getting dirty playing in the dirt. Coming home filthy but feeling great.

I agree. The cloud puts the exclamation point on the action!
"...Let me know what you think..." Fabulous pivotal moments latent within Tom...
You're truly are upping your game now... lovely color harmonies...
I'm certain those player's parents will cherish what you've brought to the table here!
As for Artificial Turf? Money Talks, esthetics can walk...
Bottom Line? Artificial Turf is far more cost effective to maintain...
The accountants have a major control over the decision process.
That said...
Do players get injured more on turf?
“Specifically, players have a 28% higher rate of non-contact lower extremity injuries when playing on artificial turf. Of those non-contact injuries, players have a 32% higher rate of non-contact knee injuries on turf and a staggering 69% higher rate of non-contact foot/ankle injuries on turf compared to grass.”
