Trying to order from CanvasDiscounts

I got an e-mail this morning that there was a sale at Canvas Discounts until midnight tonight on 8x10, 10x12 and 10x14's for $7.00 ea. I tried to order one. It wasn't $7.00, it was $22 (plus shipping and tax, of course). There was no code to enter to get the special price, and I searched every coupon available from them. What gives? Has anyone used them? Is this bait-and-switch normal for them?

Was it really "Canvas Discounts"? Or a knock-off, or spoofed.

I placed an order from them yesterday for 3 prints. I got 35% off the entire order as a new customer, but saw nothing about a 50% sale or any other discounts.

My wife and I have used Canvas Discount for years, but in the past couple of months we’ve had some problems. The pricing has been inconsistent with the promotions and shipping was an issue. While the canvas products are timely, the acrylic cubes seem to be made off-shore and took way too long for delivery. And I couldn’t track the order through the shipper.
Our next local art show in which we anticipate participating isn’t till September, so I will be seeking other sources for our product.

That's just it. The e-mail called out a $7.00 fee for three different sizes. But when I ordered one of those sizes, it was a lot more - like 3 times that.

Interesting. I keep getting notices from them about deep discounts. I'm now thinking that the e-mails are a come-on. I did talk to a lady at my last show who said she used them and was quite pleased. That's why I decided to try them.

I ordered from them last week on one of their sales. Got the price, delivered quickly, and the print looks great. Good quality canvas, too.

Well, that's encouraging. I left them a message. I guess that's what one gets for waiting til the last minute.

This is my first order with them. Previously, I had done all of my work through Bay Photo. But Canvas Discount seemed to have different sizes and features that Bay didn't have, and that I needed for this particular series of pieces. I will be watching them very carefully.
