I'm listening to XM radio, and they're playing songs with one-word titles. I didn't realize there were so many of them. Apparently, there are lots advantages to short titles. Here's a link to a list of one hundred and some explanation. Most of these titles are foreign to me.
https://spinditty.com/playlists/Songs-With-One-Word-TitlesLike so many of these lists compiled by amateur sleuths, there are obvious omissions. Someone mentioned "Crazy" by Patsy Kline and I would like to add "Desperado" by Linda Ronstadt. I also like "Stay" by the Shakespeare Sisters which may not be well known but is a very haunting interesting song that really appeals to me.

Yesterday and Imagine. And just a gentle correction: Patsy's last name is Cline.
The responses so far, are apparently "Country" fans. For the older generation I list "Stardust" (by Hoagy Carmichael) as one of the best.

Angie by the Rolling Stones
“Stay” by David Bowie.
This list could probably go on forever, that’s what makes it fun!
