This is the most congested wild bird nesting site I have ever seen. They pack in here by the hundreds to have the Gators keep predators from pillaging their nests. Lots of variety to shoot, but difficult to get clean background shots. Try the downloads for better views of these majestic birds.

I have not been down there in quite awhile but, as you say, there are lots of birds.

Impressive series indeed. But... to color a bird pink and give it an odd bill!! The Roseate Spoonbill is an example of nature's cruel jokes.
