Barn Swallows in flight

Hello,
I was hoping to see if I could get some more Purple Martins this morning, but I didn't see any. But there were plenty of Barn Swallows flying about, catching bugs in mid-flight. I was able to get a few shots off - the trick was to wait until they flew towards me to try and lock on focus. It was almost impossible to try and get focus as they flew past. Hand held. Shooting info above the bird pics.

Hard birds to capture well while moving and you did awesome !! Especially at 800 mm!

You did very well Kevin, I've never been able to get a shot of these guys in flight, they're too fast for me...
