My first posting in this category. A bridge significant in our country's history; a sort of LOTR's "you shall not pass" bridge. Minute Man National Historic Park outside of Boston, MA.
"Over the river and through the woods, on a two-for-one we go..." Parr's Mill CB in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. Where this old iron bridge now stands there probably was another covered bridge at one time.

I traveled to Ashtabula Ohio last year and they had 18 covered bridges. I managed to visit six of them. Here are a few.

More bridges to cross from the archives
Well done Jay. Number 4 reminds me of the Zakim bridge in Boston.

Thank you, I'm trying to learn my composition technique's as I take these photo's! I take my time while taking landscape shots. No need to rush.
The first one is the “Fairlane Bridge”, next are a few drone shots of a train bridge in Lemont, next few are of the 18th Street in Chicago, the Five Bridges Crossing with the locomotive, and last is one of the covered bridges at the Naperville Riverwalk.
A few more bridges from my iPhone.
