Found a website for Nikon D 800. A package with two Nikon lens 24-70/2.8 G and 70- 200/2.8G.( see link below). The price is unbelievable. Called and got answer that these are overseas models that made of plastic other than metal of us model. In addition , they are made in Nikon overseas manufactural like Malaysia or Thailand other than Japan. Anybody has idea ? Is it true ? And the quality of those overseas models are the same or similar compare to the us model.

Uhh, no.
As always, if a deal sounds too good to be true, it's not a good deal and it's not true.

I guarantee you will have problems getting what you order from this company.
#1 clue- the price wayyyy to low to be real
#2 clue- the accessories:
$50 for a 1 gig for an off-brand memory card?

The link you provided says US warranty.
The information you have received is incorrect.
Play it safe, and buy it from a reputable source.

Plastic??? I think that's called a Holga. :-)

These online outfits rely on the naive and uninformed - of which there are plenty.

The interesting thing is go to their site an check "contact us." Scroll all the way down and check out the address. 1455 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20004.

Does anyone else recognize this? This place is a block from The White House which is 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW???

Maybe the President shops here. Hmmmmmmm! Maybe we can get him to do an UHH review for us. :)

Thailand is a major manufacturing center for Nikon cameras and lenses. I don't believe they make a metal D800 and also a plastic model.

Evidently it's a real address... but to me the building looks like a hotel!
There's a large "W" over the door.... might this be the Hotel Washington?

PS - Look up the address on Google Earth, the place the little man for the street view right in front of the marker.

What a fraud! A virtual office. I couldn't believe what I was reading... Unbelievable.

It stands to reason though, all we have in D.C. is a bunch of phonies.

The "W" is for "The Willard" which rents virtual offices with a real street office.

As I type this, the advertisement at the top of the page in UHH is for DaVinci Virtual Office Systems, the same company that owns the office space for the company that is the subject of this thread. Ah, well, an advertising dollar is an advertising dollar. It's sort of like the Pope's new twitter account appearing on the same page as a commercial for condoms! Just illustrating irony; absolutely no disrespect intended.

That's the targeted advertising system that the internet is using. It looks at the subject matter you are seing on the page and places ads that it thinks you will be interested in. FAIL!

I often see ads for items I have looked at on Amazon.com on the UHH pages that I view. Try it sometime. Go on Amazon and look at specific lenses or camera bodies and then see what shows up on any UHH page you view. You'll be amazed.
