I could send a link but you need to be a subscriber. In a few days go to their website and I think you can see it.

Thanks for posting the link but I could only read a part of the first paragraph and that was all it let me read. There's a icon that says 'Listen Here,' or something along those lines and I am told very nicely that I don't have a subscription and until I do, go away.
If they are talking about a new smart phone being as good or better than most dslr I have to agree but a phone will never beat a high end dslr or mirrorless, at least not in my lifetime
Lots of places on this forum where that argument has been thrashed out several times but in the last few years it's been pretty quite

Wait a few days and try the link again. I think it will work. No new big revelations in the article. Just interesting.

Why need someone to tell you if you need a camera?

A friend of mine, way more experience than I, when travelling simply uses his iPhone. The shared (after post) photographs including printed examples have been terrific. Two things come to mind. Firstly, he is a highly experienced photographer of many years and is well versed in composition etc. and secondly, he is similarly highly experienced in PS. I saw a recent video on the camera capabilities of the iPhone 14 which was impressive. But I would believe that knowledge of photography in all its aspects will stand one in good stead whatever enhanced capabilities A1 etc will offer well into the foreseeable future.

I guess it depends on your definition of a REAL Camera. I would surmise that nearly all of us have a camera and that if it can record photographic images then it can be classified as a a REAL camera. Ya thunk?
