I don't know how hedgehoggers feel about AI pictures. I am including a couple here. They have a little bit more of an artistic feel to them rather than a really sharp photo. Hopefully some will like them. I have to give credit to "Photobacks" for their AI design engine. I think Adobe has a really good engine too, and Shutterstock, and several others.

I kind of think that may be a good point. I may try to underplay a little more in future ai photos.

Personally, I like them both, but I’m drawn to #2 the most

Scary-nice. They do look a bit "artificial," but at a glance they're okay, especially #2.

See my separate post: Fractals.

That’s the whole point for some images — to create altered states of reality.

I really like number 2. Number 1 to me is unreal looking (?).

Thanks, Ken

Yes, I feel I am obligated to mention they are artificial as I would have a problem taking credit for something that belongs elsewhere. And I think the source should be duly noted. As I understand it Photobacks is coming up with a new version of AI soon.

I am using it as now that I am getting older, it is getting harder to get out and take pictures of new things. A lot of the pictures I take around town are crowded with little empty space. I want to get out and take pictures of beaches, mountains, and landscapes, but cannot do it. This is the next best thing for me.

I put into the engine the type of picture I would like. It creates images. Then I modify them colorwise and other ways, so the image is only partly mine. Often, what I have in mind when I put the information in, is not what I get out of it, but things do come up often that are workable even if not what I had in mind. I just do some modifications.

Thanks, NMGal

I've created a softer version of #1, maybe I will put it out later. Basically, I desaturated and I think it does look better. I question myself, what is real photography? Is it a picture of exactly what is there? Or is it an art? Often I create various versions and can't decide which way is best.
