One day we visited a virtual cactus forest. There were prickly pear, strawberry hedgehog and ocotillo blooming profusely. We even had sunshine! So I got to play with some of my favorite things. As always, I welcome your comments!

This is a staghorn cholla.

This staghorn was budding. We were about a week too early for it.

Beautiful country and beautiful photos. Careful around the jumping cacti and remember everything in south and west Texas either bites, sticks or stings.

So true! So true! As in AZ also. I didn't see any teddy bears, and the staghorns were pretty far apart. Thanks.

Beautiful colors and nicely exposed. Such a variety of blooms. Big Bend must have received the right amount of rainfall this year.
