People who care about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness want to see some changes -- something, anything -- but you stubborn 2A zealots won't budge a fraction of an inch. What I cannot fathom is how you can abide by rules, regulations and laws for some things (traffic being the simplest example that allows you to drive almost anywhere if you stay within the laws), yet owning a firearm is sacred. No John, you on the Left want to see changes. The majority of Americans approve of Americans owning firearms. Firearm sales and usage among American females is on the rise because laws are not being enforced due to lax Democratic district attorneys refusing to have criminals prosecuted. Those women are buying firearms and learning to use them for their own protection.

Yes we do fear our freedoms will be taken away. It is evident because the Left IS doing all it can to do exactly that, take our freedoms away by going against our 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Amendments to the Constitution. Please tell me you think I am mistaken so I can rightfully say you are full of crap. You tell us you are for sporting use of guns and for some self defense use of guns. But we refuse to go along with YOUR version of what is right and wrong, approved and not approved. You don't like our Constitution and that is evident. But your problem is almost all of us just don't give a damn what you think, what you want. Your opinion is not needed nor wanted. Best just go off John and suck an egg.

John, I'm 77 yrs old, walk with a limp and a cane thanks to my high school graduation present of an all expense paid round trip to Vietnam which was gifted me by my Uncle Sam. My fear is the old saw that's bandied around a lot these days which states that 'when law abiding citizens give up their firearms, the criminals won't.' Let's also not forget 'when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.'

I am not the physical equal of most wimps, and surely cannot go fist to fist with some tatted up, gold toothed young thug. Thus I will continue to advocate for my right to keep and bear arms, practice my shooting skills diligently and hope never to point a gun at anyone again. However, if I am forced to do so, I will not hesitate to do what I deem necessary in the situation.

I agree with you that something needs to be done about all these mass shootings, but leaving only the sociopaths armed won't do the job.

A major correction. It is not your Constitution. It is *our* Constitution which means that we all have ownership in common. We come together to work out a common answer to our problems in common. You are falling into your own trap of selective interpretations of. again, a contract in common.

OMG!!!!! I have never had such an easy mark as you to reply to. Surely you have noticed I DID quite accurately post, OUR Constitution. How the hell did you ever miss those words, right up in your face if you apparently did not notice? I mean it could not have been clearer.

My comment was to answer the words/post of someone who whines, bitches and cries like a little pussy about OUR Constitution when he is not even a citizen of America. John Frim has NO dog in this fight though he loves to think he does. He is almost quite like a troll just caterwauling about how we American gun owners could just give in a little bit for the good of the world. My comment to him is exactly just as it is to you. American gun owners have since the 1960's been putting up with a constant onslaught of bullshit and lies from the lying corrupt Left Wingers who operate not on common sense but on their, poor me and poor children, emotions. The FACTS are quite clear, semi auto rifles pose only a minor threat to Americans and in fact are used lawfully and legally by Millions of Americans every day with no problems whatsoever. Only about 3% of those rifles are ever used in crimes across America. Handguns and knives are used in far more instances to commit murder than are semi auto rifles. Yet that is the direction the corrupt Left has chosen ONLY because if the 2nd Amendment should ever be needed to spank an unruly and corrupt government it is those very firearms that will be chosen by Americans to fight back. It won't be handguns or knives but rifles similar to or exactly like the present AR and AK platforms. THAT my friend is why the Left is against those firearms and for no other reason.

How amazing that in my post to John Frim you choose ONLY to select my supposed usage of saying MY Constitution rather than OUR Constitution when, AGAIN, I specifically pointed out OUR Constitution. WOW, huh?????
