As a citizen of the US I actually like to hear updates about the Royals, not their every move but just updates. To me it is just fascinating how other people live and the history behind it all.
The Royals are like the First Family are to our citizens, they are up above everyone so they are always persons of interest.
Just my two cents for what its worth.

Here in America we have herd of Kardashians, Britany Spears, RuPaul, Lindsay Lohan and Miley Cyrus on the front page and in the news daily.

At least in the States, we have 200 channels of NOTHING ON TV.

Yup.... am sick of it too just as I am sick of the news media constantly telling of Michelle Obama and her new shoes, her new hair do, new dress, new purse, even her BEAUTIFUL arms (yuk)... and the COST of it all....
