The content of these kinds of posts sets individualism over the collective interests of the larger society. The relation of these two interests has become a battle instead of an accommodation, one with the other.

A compromise may serve going forward. Teach matters of sexuality at the appropriate age for students.

Certainly, one may argue with some validity that school children in the elementary grades should foremost learn reading, writing, and arithmetic, along with some basic history. This foundation prepares students for later education.

In time, yes, a gradual introduction to the subject of sexuality may enter the curriculum. The need for toleration respecting differences in sexuality should arise at the right moment, as educators deem appropriate.

Let us also consider that no matter what grownups believe good for their offspring, the Internet beckons with its siren song. Youngsters will turn to this source of facts and information to learn more about human sexuality.

You are right up to a point. The problem is that the left is forcing what they wish to teach down the throats of those who do not what some things taught. Schools are currently encouraging some students to become transgender while not notifying parents of what they are doing. Schools are currently teaching lies about the past, for example using the 1619 project curriculum, which is provably false. Just like the right has no right to teach your children things that you do not want them taught so the left has no right to teach other's children things that they do not wish to be taught. You see, the problem with the left is that you think it's OK when you do it, but not when the right does. You have a double standard, but you are apparently blind to that fact. You can correctly see that we have a right to our opinion and a right to control what our children read and see, but then you think it's fine to go ahead and cram things that are contrary to those beliefs down our children's throats. It is the left that does not understand where their rights end and others begin. A perfect example of that is allowing transgenders to participate in sports in the gender of their choice. That is clearly unfair to females, and their rights, but nonetheless it is being forced on everyone. The left is doing exactly what you just decried from the right. You are just to blind to see it or too hypocritical to admit it, one or the other.

Other than what comes up in legitimate science classes being taught factually without the interjection of grooming and indoctrination there shouldn't be teaching of things that aren't academic and appropriate for preparing for higher education and living a capable life, i.e. checking one's vehicle and keeping it running appropriately, balancing one's bank accounts, handling money, knowing math, history, civics, grammar, cursive and all the things taught 75 years ago when we led the world in literacy.
