Wow thanks for the definitive ID, I had thought maybe it was the larval stage of the Great Sonoran Hippo

We can can take comfort in knowing that the Sonoran Hippo rarely gets airborne.....
but that is one fine photo, you are on a roll. Expect a call from National Geographic.
